Terms of service.
Makeup Trials and the wedding day.
Bridal makeup trials are compulsory ahead of the wedding day, without a trial I cannot accept responsibility if the look desired does not meet expectations on the wedding day itself. It is not essential for anyone other than the bride to have a trial although anyone is welcome to one.
I will work with you at the makeup trial to create desired makeup look. Please bare in mind that I will need your assistance to achieve this in terms of clear communication of the look desired and cooperation in creating this look.
Please bear in mind when referencing online images that a lot include filtering, editing and aesthetics which is not practical in real life.
In the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied with your makeup trial, I ask to be contacted immediately via email so that I can resolve the matter and look to arrange a secondary trial at a reduced rate.
Refunds, Retrials or cancellations without charges are solely at my discretion.
f I don't quite think I'm the correct person for your wedding day makeup following the trial or early communication I retain the right to advise that I am unable to assist on your wedding day and will help you find a makeup artist better suited to yourself and your desired look. All makeup artists work in different styles and this needs to be understood at booking.
In the very unlikely event I'm unable to attend on the day of the wedding due to illness or unforeseen circumstance, a full refund will be made to you immediately. I will also endeavour to find you an alternative recommended makeup professional for you on your wedding day.
Allergies.
I take allergies extremely seriously. Any allergies at all, in particularly to makeup or skincare products for any bridal party members need to be brought to my attention at the time of booking. I cannot accept any responsibility for any allergic reactions if not communicated and I may refuse to use products if I'm unsure of ingredients. Your permission to do so will be at your own responsibility or the persons who’s makeup is being completed.
Payment and Deposits
The bride or nominated person who enquires with me is to agree, understand and accept all booking conditions, including all payment due dates, cancellation policys and is the only person to make changes to the booking.
Payment of the deposit is seen as acceptance of the booking and acceptance of my terms of business - where a signature has not been obtained (eg where booking has been made through online communication and payment is made via bank transfer without face to face meeting)
Travel expenses will be charged at 45p per mile and apply to the journey both there and back. The travel fee may also include an additional fee if the travel time is over 1 hour and may need to include a fee to cover parking if travelling to a town or city centre location, or if we need to move location mid morning.
A payment of £100 is required as a non refundable deposit to secure a date in my diary. Without this deposit, the date can be offered to other interested parties, I will communicate this with you before taking the next booking if you have expressed that you wish to book me.
This deposit is deducted from the final balance due for the wedding day and the remaining balance would be due 28 days before the wedding day.
Makeup trials are payable separately to the deposit and the final balance and are due on the day of the trial themselves.
Accepted methods of payment for deposit, trials and final balance are cash or BACS transfer. I unfortunately do not accept cheque or credit card payment.
